Mandatory Bike & Helmet Inspection
at Different Bikes
To ensure the safety of participants, we require that all bikes and helmets receive a mandatory inspection before race day, March 11th. Different Bikes will be on site to provide inspections on race day, but you can avoid the line up by getting your complimentary inspection in advance!
Bring your bike into any Different Bikes location during regular store hours. An appointment is not necessary.
A safety inspection is a quick check to make sure that your bike and helmet are in good condition. The store staff will make sure that the bolts on your bike are tight and your brakes are functioning properly. The end goal is to make sure that your equipment is safe for use.
Please note that although we will be onsite to do bike/helmet checks on race day, if there is a safety concern, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to resolve it to passing condition in that short a time frame, so we recommend that you bring your bike into one of our stores at least a few days before the event.
