Racing for the Heart

On Labour Day 2005, Different Bikes sponsored the “Fast For Dad” Single Speed Team in the 24 Hours of Adrenalin race. They were riding to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and as a way to honour the memory of their Dad.
It was a great race at Whistler despite the cold and wet conditions all weekend. The team finished in 5th place after completing 23 laps in a time of 24:05, using only one gear on a muddy, technical, and climbing course. More importantly, with many generous donations from friends and family they raised over $8,500 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!
