Judy Latoski is the founder of Spoke’n Performance Coaching Solutions, a company providing coaching and related services for competitive cyclists and multi-sport athletes. Judy has been actively involved with cycling for many years, initially as a Canadian National Team member where she represented Canada at the Tour de France Feminine in 1987 & ’89, and the World Championships in 1987-89. More recently, Judy’s focus has been on coaching and providing athletes with services such as bike fitting, power and lactate testing for enhanced sport performance. She holds a Level II NCCP certification for road cycling and is in the process of completing her Level III.
Prior to her coaching career, Judy worked in healthcare and transferred her knowledge within sport and healthcare when she worked at the Sport Medicine Council of BC. Her time at SportMedBC helped her create a sport science/sport health network that she routinely uses within Spoke’n Performance Coaching Solutions.
In an effort to give back to the cycling community, Judy co-founded the Chicks Cycling Club located in Vancouver, BC. The club was developed to offer female cyclists a supportive environment for developing their cycling skills and the club plays an integral role in the provincial development model for females. Judy has served as President from 2002 – 2007 and is also President of the Coaches Association of B.C.
