We’re excited to unveil our new Road Gallery, a space dedicated to road cyclists and all of their needs. Located upstairs at our existing West Vancouver location.
This new retail space aims to deliver a focused and complete experience both to select the right bike for you, but also to make the most of your road bike, yourself and your riding experience after you have chosen. Selection, Service, Fitting and Fitness are all parts of the vision we have assembled for road riders whether seasoned veteran or neophyte preparing to try your first Fondo.
Selection
The Different Bikes Road Gallery delivers the best selection of premium road bikes on the North Shore and one of the broadest in all of BC. Starting with a wide range of choices from the world’s largest bike manufacturer and ProTour mainstay Giant Bicycles, we also stock 4 other ProTour level brands including Belgian Ridley, Italians Wilier and Pinarello and French Look Cycles.
Also in stock are a selection from Canadian favourites Rocky Mountain and Norco, plus we can provide Eddy Merckx, Moots, Independent Fabrication and many more boutique and custom options for every taste.
Add to this everything you need to complement your ride – Clothing from Assos, Capo, Sugoi, Pearl Izumi, Gore Bike Wear; Shoes from Shimano, Specialized, Sidi, Northwave; Helmets from Giro, Bell, Specialized, Catlike; Parts and accessories from Shimano, Mavic, Zipp, Campagnolo, SRAM, Garmin and many more. If we don’t have it in stock we can get it quickly with our commitment to personal service and support.
Service
In the Gallery, we provide space for comfortable, consultative support in choosing the right bike, from knowledgeable staff and an online resource center. We can help build your custom dream bike or just seek the right stock bike for your needs. After sales service includes lifetime free adjustments and checkups from our experienced techs.
Fitting
A great bike needs a perfect fit for comfort and performance. The Gallery also provides full personal fitting services including laser measurements, video analysis and more. We have partnered with specialist bike fitters like Active Life Physio who will provide on site appointments to incorporate a complete sports physio-based fit.
Fitness
Now you have all the pieces – but how do you get the best out of them and yourself? Different Bikes is pleased to present a comprehensive new partnership with an industry-leading organization, Peak Center for Human Performance.
Beginning April 15th, the Peak Centre will maintain a full time facility on the premises at Different Bikes to offer a range of services for cyclists including direct, maximal testing (VO2 Max), blood lactate analysis, fitness screening, and training program design. In addition, during the fall and winter, Peak Centre will offer some new indoor cycling programs in the Gallery space including their signature national computrainer racing series, and a full range and schedule of performance-oriented spin classes. This new indoor program is planned to incorporate and expand upon much of the Different Cycling Studio program which began in fall 2010.
