Meet the newest addition to the Different Bikes Group – The “DBUV”

It’s our new delivery and utility van, a Ford Transit Connect. Still somewhat unique here, but those who have travelled to Europe will recognize a small sized van that in various forms is truly ubiquitous in many other parts of the world. These are to Europe what a pickup truck is to North America – the workhorse of nearly every business.
We were excited to see them introduced here as it is a perfect fit for us. Fuel efficient, huge capacity and easy to zip around the city between our 4 locations. You’d be surprised how many bikes can fit into that small space!

But we didn’t get this little van just because it’s a novelty. It is essential to helping us make the most of our broad inventory of bikes, clothing, parts and accessories. With more locations than any other bike retailer in BC, we have lots of products available in our combined inventories. Usually around 1000 bikes between all the locations! That means there’s a good chance we have the size, colour and style you are after in stock. This little van helps us deliver the right bike or other product for you quickly from whichever store it is located at to the one closest to you.

It runs between all stores several times a week, watch for it and wave to the DB team member behind the wheel!
