DB Transrockies Team 2

Rich and Mike are the second of two great teams we are supporting at the 2006 Transrockies . Nice guys and strong riders, we’re looking forward to seeing them tackle this epic event.

Rich Hamilton

This is Rich’s second Transrockies which comes as a surprise to all those who know him as he said after the first that there wouldn’t be another! Rich is 41 years old and lives in North Vancouver with his very supportive wife Sally and daughter Holly.

Mountain-biking since the mid 80’s, Rich hopes to put it all together at the Transrockies to justify a summer of training and limited beer consumption.

Mike Edwards

Mike will be turning 39 soon which is a blessing as it enables the team to get out of the Open category and squeak into the 80 plus division. Mike is a natural athlete who mingled in the professional cycling circuit back in the 90’s. Mike is using the Transrockies as a training event (!) for the Ironman Canada event later in August…an event that he placed 130th overall last year! Mike resides in Whistler with his family and trains on a regular basis with his son Max.
