Athletics for Kids Fundraiser

Athletics for Kids is a local BC charity that raises money to help support less privileged children and youth in the pursuit of sporting activities that they would otherwise be unable to do.

One of the Athletics for Kids biggest fundraising events is their annual dinner and prize auction – held at the Hollyburn Club in West Vancouver. This year’s event is Friday April 3, and there are still tickets available.

Different Bikes and Norco believe in supporting local kids charities and have teamed up to provide a couple of the great prizes available in the silent and live auctions at the fundraising gala.

First of all, a 2009 Norco VFR commuter bike (value over $800) will be available in the silent auction, donated by Different Bikes.

And one of the grand prizes to be live auctioned will be a dream Whistler Bike Park weekend provided by Norco. The package includes 2 Norco demo bikes for the day, 2 bike park passes, 2 hours of private lessons with world-renowned Norco Team rider Jay Hoots, and a grab bag of jerseys and other prizes worth an additional $200 each. An overall value of close to $1000!
