A great event for the whole family!
The Giro’s “B” shaped course makes it a crowd friendly race where spectators can see racers on two different parts of the course as they go in both directions down Hastings.

The Giro Di Burnaby, a criterium race that is part of BC Superweek, is back after a two year hiatus and DB is on board! BC Superweek is an important part of the local road racing calendar and as a part of the cycling community, we couldn’t be more pleased that this race is back!
Different Bikes and Giant Bicycles will be at the event cheering on the racers and providing water to the 250 volunteers. We know that these events could not take place without the hard work of community volunteers. One of the volunteers will also be the lucky recipient of a pair of Shimano RO87 Road shoes from DB West Van.
New this year, the Giro is having a raffle for three great prizes, one of which is a Giant Defy 2, donated by Different Bikes Burnaby and Giant Bicycles. Tickets are only $5 and 50% of the proceeds go to Burnaby Kidsport whose mission is: All Kids Get A Chance To Play!

2011 Giant Defy 2 - can also be seen on dispaly at the Heights Merchants Association on 4019 Hastings Street.
