Race Bear Mountain! (July 3rd-4th 2010)

The good folks from the FVMBA are helping to put on the Bear Mountain Challenge for, that's right, its 14th year.
This event has been rocking since well before most of us were riding (and a few of us remember racing down on hardtails).
Whether you want to rip the super sweet -technical singletrack- XC race on Saturday or fly full-tilt down the Bear DH Course on Sunday this is an awesome, family friendly, event with good access to hike in and see all the action.
The XC race will take place on Saturday, July 3rd, and the DH will be Sunday, July 4th.

P.S. If you make it out, be certain to say hello to Gary Harder who has been doing trail advocacy and organizing races out in the valley almost as long as Jeff Carr has been hawking bicycles in Deep Cove.
